New Delhi: Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the budget 2025 on Saturday. In this budget, many big announcements were made for the common man, youth, industries and economy. In the budget, the government announced that now no tax will be paid on earning up to Rs 12 lakh. The government has given a lot of attention to the middle class in the budget. These 10 big announcements for common man

  1. Now no income tax will have to be paid till the earnings of Rs 12 lakh.
  2. The government will give a discount of Rs 1 lakh crore on direct tax and Rs 2,600 crore in direct due to change in tax rate.
  3. Individuals with an annual income of Rs 25 lakh will get a profit of Rs 1,10,000 in tax. A person with an annual income of Rs 18 lakh will get a profit of Rs 70,000 in tax
  4. 28 more goods have been included in the free list of capital goods to make mobile phone batteries.
  5. Startups have been extended by 5 years to make a company for making tax benefits.
  6. Gig workers, who work through app or platform, are also good news. The government will give them an identity card and register on the E-Shram portal. They will also get health facilities under the PM Jan Arogya Yojana. This will benefit about 1 crore Gig workers.
  7. 50,000 houses have been ready under the Swamih scheme to complete the stuck housing projects. 40,000 more houses are expected to be built in 2025. Apart from this, 1 lakh more houses will be built in Swamih Fund 2 from Rs 15,000 crore.
  8. TCS will not be imposed on education loans up to Rs 10 lakh taken from certain financial institutions.
  9. The annual limit of TDS on rent has been increased from Rs 2.4 lakh to Rs 6 lakh.
  10. The tax deduction limit for senior citizens has been doubled to Rs 1 lakh.

Trying to woo middle class

In the budget, competent nutrition scheme through Anganwadi sector, nutritional schemes of 20 lakh adolescent girls are also associated with rural areas and women. Emphasis on increasing employment and entrepreneurship in labor intensive regions has been intended to increase employment. The simplification of KYC system is claimed for pensioners. Efforts have been seen in the budget to give a lot to the middle class too, but the real benefits will be cleared only by the fine assessment of the budget. There is also an announcement to strengthen the economy by increasing the pace of development. Corporate and other private sectors increase investment in India itself, for this, the roadmap is seen, but this sector will increase the investment in the right or will prefer to work more by bringing raw materials from abroad.

For women

  • Special Loan Scheme for MSME MSME Women Entrepreneurs of SC -ST.
  • Women who become entrepreneurs for the first time will get a term loan of two crore.

For the elderly

Tax exemption for Senior Citizens doubled, increased from 50 thousand to 1 lakh rupees.

For farmer

  • The limit of Kisan Credit Card (KCC) increased from 3 lakh to 5 lakh rupees.
  • PM Dhan-Dhanya Krishi Yojana will start in the country. 100 districts will benefit.
  • Loans up to Rs 5 lakh for dairy and fisheries.
  • Marine products will be cheap, custom duty was reduced from 30% to 5%.
  • Fishing in Andaman, Nicobar and deep sea will be encouraged.
  • A 6 -year mission to achieve self -sufficiency in pulses.
  • Post payment bank payment service will be increased in rural schemes.
  • 5 years action plan for cotton production. Production- Focus on marketing.
  • A new urea plant will be set up in the name of Assam.
