Modi 3.0 will complete its 100 days on 17 September, on which achievements is the government patting itself on the back

New Delhi: The Narendra Modi government will complete 100 days of its third term on Tuesday on the Prime Minister’s birthday. During this period, the biggest achievement of the Modi government has been Lakhpati Didi. So far, more than one crore Lakhpati Didis have been enrolled, whose annual income is more than one lakh rupees. A senior government official said that the emergence of such a large number of Lakhpati Didis is the answer to those who question the government on jobs.100 day roadmap was already received
On Sunday, government sources released details of the performance of the first 100 days of Modi 3.0, stating that projects worth Rs 15 lakh crore have been approved during this period. They said that for the first time when the projects were launched, the dates of their inauguration were also announced simultaneously. Sources also suggested that the infrastructure projects launched in these 100 days were conceived much earlier, as officials were directed to prepare a 100-day roadmap before the start of the third term of the NDA government.

This is also in the government’s plan

A government source said that employment generation through these projects has been one of the major achievements. he/she further said that we should understand that employment does not mean only government jobs, as many long-term projects have been planned focusing on employment generation. The BJP-led NDA government has approved infrastructure projects worth Rs 3 lakh crore during its first 100 days in office, including connecting 25,000 unconnected villages with road networks and building a mega port at Vadhwan in Maharashtra.

Emphasis on the welfare of farmers too
Apart from infrastructure, the government has also taken steps to boost agriculture by increasing the minimum support price (MSP) for kharif crops, removing minimum export price (MEP) on onion and basmati rice, and raising duty on import of crude palm, soybean and sunflower oils. The government’s move to add 75,000 new medical seats is another achievement in its first 100 days, as it is seen to make the healthcare system more effective and reduce dependence on foreign medical education.

Disaster management also under scrutiny

Disaster management has been another highlight of the third term of the Modi government. Apart from introducing the Disaster Management (Amendment) Bill, 2024, Rs 12,554 crore has been sanctioned to states for urban flood management, fire services, glacial lake outburst response, flood control and other disaster mitigation efforts.
