New Delhi. Underage driving is one of the most dangerous offenses which is quite common in India. Everyday many minors are seen driving scooters, bikes and cars. These minors mostly get away with this crime, however this time when a minor was caught in Puducherry it had some serious consequences. Recently, the parents of a minor in Puducherry have been sentenced to 3 years in prison for an incident of underage driving. Along with this, a fine of Rs 25 thousand has also been imposed on the parents.
At present, the complete information about the whereabouts of the incident has not been revealed, but it has been told that the parents of this minor have been sent to jail. It has been announced by the Transport Department of Puducherry that the parents of any minor who is caught driving without a driving license will be arrested and sentenced to three years in jail and a fine of Rs 25,000.
