Ministry planning to soon implement single window system for youth, draft of sports bill also ready

New Delhi: The Ministry of Youth and Sports is preparing to implement a single window system for youth soon. Where students and youth will be able to know about new courses, skill training, employment opportunities, career counseling only on MY BHARAT PLATFORM. The Ministry has also implemented the ‘Vikas Bharat Ambassador-Youth Connect’ program some time back. Its objective is to promote youth participation and leadership in India’s development.

what is the whole project

In this project, discussions on the concept of developed India are organized with the youth in universities and colleges across the country. The youth also get an opportunity to interact with renowned speakers of the country. Apart from this, the Ministry has also prepared a draft of Sports Policy and Sports Bill, on which feedback has been sought.

Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya gave information

Union Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya said that the youth policy is reviewed from time to time according to the needs of the present time and new methods of youth communication are being adopted. he/she said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his/her address on August 15 had emphasized on preparing one lakh youth leaders and the Youth Ministry’s campaign includes padyatras in different states. Every month, padyatras are held in two states, in which the youth also present their vision.

Developed India Youth Leader Samvad organized in Delhi

Vikas Bharat Yuva Neta Samvad is being organized in Delhi on 11-12 January 2025, in which the youth will get a chance to interact with the PM. Union Minister Mandaviya informed that the Ministry of Youth and Sports provides funds to promote youth leadership, skills and sports across the country including rural areas. A total of 4,96,39,201 youth participated in various youth participation, education, training and other programs organized by the department during the financial year 2023-24.

Many learning programs through MY Bharat portal

The Union Minister said that education programs for youth have been started in many areas through MY Bharat portal. Skill training programs are also being conducted to create employment opportunities and generate employment. Youth volunteer activities, mega events, financial literacy programmes, mentorship programs are also taking place through the ‘MY Bharat’ digital platform. On MY BHARAT PLATFORM, youth will be able to get every information regarding career counselling, skill training and employment opportunities.

Effort to create single window system for youth

Work is being done to make MY Bharat platform a single window system for the youth, this portal will be integrated with the National Career Service Portal. Secretariat Youth Affairs, National Youth Empowerment Programme, National Youth Corps, Young Leader Programme, National Program for Youth and Adolescent Development, programs of international cooperation are taking place. Besides, the number of youth hostels is also being increased.

Special features of sports policy

Participation of maximum youth in sports policy draft, identifying and encouraging youth talent, sports tourism, manufacturing of sports equipment in the country, startups, making India a global sports hub, innovation in sports science, making sports infrastructure better and better. Is included.
