Minister Konda Surekha apologizes to Samantha, had given controversial statement on divorce with Naga Chaitanya

Telangana Minister Konda Surekha has now apologized to Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya for her statement. Konda Surekha had attributed the divorce of Samantha and Naga Chaitanya to BRS (Bharat Raksha Samiti) leader KT Rama Rao. There was a lot of uproar over this. Many celebs including Naga Chaitanya’s father and actor Nagarjuna, Junior NTR, Samantha herself, Akhil Akkineni and Prakash Raj had strongly criticized Konda Surekha. Now Konda Surekha has said that she will withdraw her statement. Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya were once a popular couple of South. Both of them had a love marriage in the year 2017, but they separated in the year 2021. In August 2024, Naga Chaitanya got engaged to actress Shobhita Dhulipala. But now when Konda Surekha talked about their divorce, and held KTR responsible for it, everyone was shocked.

KTR had sent notice to Konda Surekha

Konda Surekha’s statement and apology comes hours after KTR sent her a legal notice. KT Rama Rao had asked Konda Surekha to apologize within 24 hours, otherwise a defamation and criminal case would be filed against her.
