New Delhi: Voting for the 7th and final phase of the Lok Sabha elections will be held two days later i.e. on June 1. Before that, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to Kanyakumari from today on a two-day visit. According to the program, first PM Modi will hold a rally in Hoshiarpur, Punjab and then leave for Kanyakumari. There Modi will reach Vivekananda Rock Memorial and meditate. First election rally, then flight to Kanyakumari
As per the schedule, PM Modi will first address a rally in Hoshiarpur, Punjab today. After this, he/she will leave for Kanyakumari after 5 pm. After reaching Kanyakumari, he/she will first offer prayers at the Maa Bhagwati Amman Temple. After this, he/she will go to Vivekananda Rock Memorial where he/she has to meditate for two days.

The stay will be of 45 hours, security is tight
PM Modi will stay in Vivekananda Rock Garden for about 45 hours where he/she will also meditate. Tight security arrangements have been made for this. The beach will be closed for tourists from Thursday to Saturday. Private boats will also not ply during this period. A team of two thousand policemen and security agencies will keep an eye on every small thing. Modi will return to Delhi on June 1, the day of voting, but before that PM will also visit the statue of Tamil poet Tiruvalluvar. Its height is 133 feet.The last battle was fought on 1 June
