With an aim to create a clean and drug free society, Mohali Police, MCOffice Zirakpur and Royal Estate Group (REG) joined hands to organize Indian Swachhta League Season-2 at Oxford Street. This is a new initiative of its kind by REG. The program witnessed impressive participation from people from various walks of life. This campaign was a part of REG’s corporate social responsibility (CSR).
Renowned actor Karamjit Anmol and President, Punjabi Film and TV Artistes Association, was the chief guest, while Devinder Singh Dhillon, Additional Advocate General, Punjab, was the guest of honour. Manpreet Singh (PPS), SP Rural, Mohali and Himanshu Gupta (PCS), SDM, Derabassi were also present on the occasion.

Oxford Street came alive with vibrant demonstrations including a spectacular flash mob, cultural shows and a dedicated Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. This touching display of unity and enthusiasm demonstrated the power of collective action for a better tomorrow. The event is important as drug abuse and addiction have become major public health concerns and it is important to promote anti-drug awareness to prevent substance abuse and the negative consequences associated with it. Such activities will encourage community participation in anti-drug efforts.
