Matching of PM Modi and Devendra Fadnavis on swearing in, know why the jackets of both are special

Devendra Fadnavis has taken oath as the Chief Minister of Maharashtra for the third time. The swearing-in ceremony was held on 5 December at 5 pm at Azad Maidan, Mumbai. In which many big politicians including Prime Minister Narendra Modi participated, many stars including Sachin Tendulkar, Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan also participated. While everyone seemed happy for Fadnavis, his/her matching with PM Modi also caught everyone’s attention.

After getting Tilak applied by his/her mother, Fadnavis left home to take oath as the Chief Minister and then went to Ganpati Bappa at Siddhivinayak Temple before reaching the ground. Here his/her usual simple look was seen, so his/her style seemed somewhat like the PM’s style. So, let’s take a look at her look. (Photo Courtesy: X @Dev_Fadnavis/ Instagram @narendramodi/ ANI)

Fadnavis’ style did not change

While most politicians are often seen wearing kurta with pajamas and Nehru jacket, Fadnavis’s style is different. Years ago, he/she was also seen in kurta, but now he/she is seen wearing straight fit trousers, shirt and jacket. As was seen even during the swearing in. There was not much change in his/her look even on this special day.

This is what Maharashtra CM looks like

To take oath as CM, Fadnavis came wearing black trousers with a white shirt. Which she styled with pink colored Nehru jacket. This jacket with bandhgala looked good with her black and white look, and as soon as PM Modi arrived, there was similarity in their style.

PM Modi came in kurta-pajama

As soon as the PM entered the stage of Azad Maidan, everyone started saluting him/her with folded hands. Here he/she was seen in a simple white kurta as always. With which he/she wore matching pajamas and paired a black jacket. In which his/her desi look looked good, while because of the jacket, his/her and Fadnavis’ look gave similar vibes. Both are often seen in similar jackets. Because of which it is also special in its look.
