However, the company has not given any information as to how much the prices will be increased. Maruti Suzuki India said in a stock exchange filing that the company plans to increase the prices of its cars in January 2024 due to increased cost pressures due to overall inflation and increased commodity prices. German luxury car manufacturer Audi has also announced to increase the prices of its vehicles in India by two percent from January next year, citing increasing raw material demand and operating costs.

German luxury car maker Audi on Monday said it will increase the prices of its vehicles in India by two per cent from January next year, citing rising raw material demand and operating costs. According to a statement issued by Audi India, the price hike will be effective from January 1, 2024 and will extend across all model ranges. Audi India chief Balbir Singh Dhillon said in a statement that due to increasing demand for supply-chain-related raw materials and operating costs, we have made value improvements across our model range while maintaining the premium value positioning of the brand.

He said that the price improvement is aimed at ensuring sustainable growth for Audi India and our dealer partners. We will ensure that the impact of the price increase is as minimal as possible on customers. Audi India sells a range of vehicles from the Q3 SUV to the sports car RSQ8, priced between Rs 42.77 lakh and Rs 2.22 crore.
