The net profit of IT company Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) increased by 14.8 percent to Rs 11,392 crore in the fourth quarter of the last financial year (2022-23). TCS, the country’s largest IT company by market valuation, reported a 16.9 per cent rise in revenue to Rs 59,162 crore in the January-March quarter. Its revenue in the same quarter of FY 2021-22 was Rs 50,591 crore. The Tata Group flagship company’s net profit during the full financial year 2022-23 increased by 10 percent to Rs 42,147 crore. At the same time, the company’s revenue increased by 17.6 percent year-on-year to Rs 2,25,458 crore during the financial year. The company said its operating margin expanded to 24.5 percent from 24.1 percent in the fourth quarter. At the same time, the net margin increased from 18.7 percent to 19.3 percent.
