Many countries are scared of America, but India… What did S Jaishankar say out of fear?

New Delhi: Since the victory of Donald Trump in the US elections, the politics of the entire world has been on the rise. Many countries are in tension regarding Donald Trump’s plans. Meanwhile, India’s Foreign Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar has clearly said that India is not one of those countries which are nervous about America. In the Aditya Birla 25th Silver Jubilee Scholarship Program organized in Mumbai, Foreign Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar said , ‘Prime Minister Modi has strong relations with America.’ he/she told that ‘when Donald Trump won the US Presidential election, one of his/her first three phone calls was to PM Modi.’

he/she further said, ‘PM Modi has built good relations with many American Presidents. When PM Modi visited Washington DC for the first time, Barack Obama was the President. After that Trump and then Biden became President. The Foreign Minister said that ‘Today many countries are nervous about America, but India is not among them.’

‘India discussed across the world’

While addressing the youth in the program, Dr. Jaishankar said that India’s progress is being discussed all over the world. he/she said that the world is watching and appreciating the changes taking place in India. he/she said that 75 new airports, 16 new metros, better national highways, good railway travel and young talent in India are proof of this.

‘Government policies are making it easier to do business’

Dr Jaishankar said the government’s policies are making it easier to do business, making life easier for citizens, reducing bureaucracy, strengthening citizen awareness and improving human resource development. he/she said, ‘The world is a competitive place and to ensure India’s rise, we too must constantly sharpen our instincts.’

‘Reliable and strong supply chain has to be created’

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said that the world understood the dangers of being dependent on only a few places during Covid. he/she said that monopoly on production and market can also be used for political gains. That is why there is now talk of creating a reliable and strong supply chain. This becomes even more important in the digital world. In the age of Artificial Intelligence (AI), it is very important to know who is using your data. Data privacy and cyber security are now as important as strong supply chains.
