Manoj Bajpayee talked about divorce in the industry, said- people have become open-minded, relationships are breaking

Manoj Bajpayee is one such actor who made his/her way to the top and went from being a supporting actor to a National Award-winning actor. Since he/she has been a part of Bollywood for ages, he/she has seen it go through ups and downs. Now, Manoj Bajpayee has opened up on divorce and many evils of Bollywood. Manoj Bajpayee, best known for films like ‘The Family Man’ and ‘Sirf Ek Banda Kaafi Hai’, was in conversation with Sushant Sinha. During their fun conversation, he/she was asked about the truth behind the dark side of Bollywood, which includes lavish parties, divorces and more. Here’s what Manoj had to say about it. Expressing his/her opinion on the matter, Manoj Bajpayee said that the Hindi film industry is very small and there are many kinds of people who need jobs. he/she further added, ‘If someone is caught doing wrong in some corner of the industry, it doesn’t prove anything. I and my friends and co-stars are also from the same industry, and I can tell that 95% of them are very passionate and honest not only towards the films they are doing but also towards their family and their friends. A few incidents here and there cannot prove that the entire industry is like this.’ he/she also talked about the plight of the industry.

Manoj Bajpayee spoke on divorce in the industry

Talking about the rise in divorces in the industry, he/she said, “If you go to Tis Hazari court and ask about the divorce rate, you will realise where we have reached today, where relationships and marriages are breaking every day. Our society has adopted the trend of nuclear family and it has its benefits, but the harm caused by the trend of nuclear family, you can see it in the courts.”

How have the people in the industry become?

Manoj Bajpayee further said, ‘So is the industry not a part of the society? People coming from the same society are part of the industry. When people are from the same society, isn’t it obvious that the change in society will be seen in the industry as well? Earlier, there were not as many divorces in this industry as there are today. But now people here have become open-minded and do not associate themselves with any state or country, which is a very good thing.’
