​Manmohan Singh used to walk miles to go to school in a village in Pakistan, his/her passion was such that it could make even children capable.


Manmohan Singh was born on 26 September 1932 in Gah village of Chakwal district of Punjab province of Pakistan. The school was so far from his/her village that he/she had to walk for several miles. But he/she was so determined about his/her studies that he/she completed his/her education by overcoming challenges and difficulties.

he/she further studied economics from Punjab University, which was then in Hoshiarpur, Punjab, and also obtained graduation and post graduation degrees in 1952 and 1954. he/she did not stop here and moved forward after completing his/her studies in Economics from Cambridge University in 1957.

If we look at the entire period of Manmohan Singh’s education, we find that he/she overcame difficulties and moved ahead. Children also learn the same lesson from their lives that success comes only after overcoming challenges. Manmohan Singh got the opportunity to hold one of the highest posts in the country, but despite this, humility was reflected in his/her behavior. he/she was completely different from other politicians and was of a calm nature and full of self-confidence. he/she led his/her country with complete confidence and let his/her actions speak for him/her rather than speaking for himself.

Manmohan Singh had to face political pressure throughout his/her career and the public also criticized him/her for remaining silent. Despite all this, he/she presented a great example of his/her honesty. his/her decisions were always in the interest of the country and he/she did not think in favor of a political party or keeping in mind public opinion.

In his/her long career, Manmohan Singh became an economist and then a policy maker and then a politician who also got the opportunity to become the Prime Minister of the country twice. he/she played a key role in expanding India’s economy in the 1990s, introducing sweeping reforms that reshaped the country’s financial landscape. he/she accepted the changes in his/her role in every position and performed them well.
