Manmohan Singh should get Bharat Ratna… Aam Aadmi Party raised this demand

New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has demanded to give Bharat Ratna to former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh. This demand has come a day after his/her death. AAP Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh said, ‘he/she has all the qualifications to get Bharat Ratna. The Government of India should consider this.
This demand has come amid tension between Congress and AAP before Delhi elections. Congress has accused AAP of using Punjab Police to spy on its leaders. AAP has hit back and demanded Congress’s ouster from the INDIA alliance. Sanjay Singh also shared his/her experience with Dr. Manmohan Singh in the Rajya Sabha. he/she told that once when he/she was signing, someone placed a hand on his/her shoulder from behind. When I looked back, Dr. Manmohan Singh was standing there. Sanjay Singh touched his/her feet. Dr. Singh placed his/her hand on his/her shoulder and said, ‘Sanjay Singh ji, you are a strong voice of the opposition.’ Sanjay Singh said that he/she will always remember these words.

Sanjay Singh further said, ‘When he/she stood up to speak in Parliament, MPs from both the ruling party and the opposition used to listen silently. he/she used to finish his/her speech in 2 or 3 minutes. he/she used to say big things in few words. Dr. Manmohan Singh ji has made an important contribution in strengthening the country’s economy. he/she also recalled how Dr Singh had come to the Rajya Sabha in a wheelchair to vote in an ordinance case related to Delhi. he/she said, ‘When a bill was brought in the Rajya Sabha on the ordinance issue regarding Delhi. Then Manmohan Singh ji came to the House on a wheelchair to vote. Our party will always remember this favour.
