Mamta Kulkarni was one of the top actresses of Bollywood during the nineties. he/she recently returned to Mumbai after 25 years and broke his/her silence on his/her arrival. In a recent interview, Mamta talked about her precious time, spiritual journey and her decision to leave the film industry at the peak of her career. Mamata’s comeback came after the Bombay High Court quashed the FIR against her in the Rs 2,000 crore drug case and gave her a clean chit. After her long absence, Mamata has compared herself to Gautam Buddha. She told News18, ‘I had set out in search of truth. Like Gautam Buddha turned out to be. I was just doing penance, engrossed in devotion. Reminiscing about leaving Bollywood during the peak of his/her career, he/she said, ‘I had 40 films, 3 flats, 4 cars, did 50 concerts across the world but I left everything.’

Why has Mamta Kulkarni returned to India?

Mamta clarified that her return to India has nothing to do with her Bollywood career or any possible comeback. She said, ‘I have not come here to go back to Bollywood. I am looking for a middle path and will continue on my spiritual path. Everything looks better with age. I enjoyed that period but now I have moved on.

The actress revealed that she has returned to watch the upcoming Kumbh Mela, adding that she is satisfied with her spiritual journey and life away from films. She dismissed speculations about participating in Bigg Boss or resuming her acting career.
