The clouds of grief and sorrow hovering over the film industry are not taking the name of ending. In the last few days, many celebs from Bollywood to South Film Industry said goodbye to this world. Recently, the news of the alleged suicide of Bhojpuri actress Akanksha Dubey shocked. Now Malayalam actor and former MP Innocent has passed away. The 75-year-old actor breathed his/her last on March 26 at around 10.30 pm.
According to the statement issued by the hospital, Innocent was admitted to the hospital in Kochi on March 3 due to breathing problem. Many parts of his/her body had stopped working. Because of this, Innocent had a heart attack and died.
Shortness of breath, stay in ICU
Innocent had an infection in his/her throat, due to which he/she was having difficulty in breathing. he/she was kept in the ICU in the hospital. Innocent had got corona thrice in the last three years, due to which his/her health deteriorated further. There was also an innocent cancer survivor. he/she was diagnosed with cancer only a few years ago. However, he/she recovered later. But the body had become very weak.

More than 700 movies, popular comedian
Innocent had a long career in Malayalam cinema. In a career spanning five decades, he/she did more than 700 films. he/she was considered the most popular comedian of Malayalam cinema. However, Innocent also appeared in the role of villain in many films. Innocent made his/her acting debut in 1972 with the film ‘Nrityashala’ and became a household name. Since then he/she was continuously active in films.

Innocent’s last film
his/her last film came in 2022, titled ‘Kaduva’. Prithviraj Sukumaran was also there in this. Apart from films, Innocent was also active in politics. In 1979, Innocent was elected as a councilor of the Irinjalakuda Municipality. Then in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, Innocent contested as an independent. Innocent also served as the President of the Association of Malayalam Movie Artistes for about 12 years. his/her sudden demise has come as a big shock to the South film industry and fans.
