Malayalam director Ranjit accused of sexual harassment again, case registered

The Justice Hema Committee report has created a stir in the Malayalam film industry. Every day some actress or the other is making allegations and revealing shocking things. But this time a young actor has accused filmmaker Ranjit of sexual harassment. ANI has been informed about this by the Kerala Police. A complaint has also been filed against him/her. According to news agency ANI, Ranjit had called the victim to a hotel in Bengaluru for an audition. But the actor was allegedly beaten up there. Ranjit asked him/her to remove all his/her clothes and later beat him/her up. The victim thought that he/she was called for an audition, but later he/she realized the situation.

Second allegation on director Ranjit

The victim claimed that Ranjit had offered money to the actor the next day of the incident. Citing Kerala Police, ANI was told that the actor has lodged a complaint with the DGP (Director General of Police), the case of which is going to be investigated by the SIT. Let us tell you that after the report of Justice Hema Committee, the Kerala government itself has formed a special task force to investigate such cases. In which there are 4 women police officers.

Ranjit was accused earlier also

Malayalam film director Ranjit has been accused earlier as well. A few days ago, a Bengali actress had accused him/her. She said that in 2009, he/she had called her for an audition for a movie and misbehaved with her. After this, Ranjit had resigned from the Kerala Film Academy.
