Joyce told the police in her statement that he/she was sitting in the balcony and reading the newspaper as usual. She saw his/her slippers in the living room and when she did not find him/her in the balcony, she peeped down from there. There the watchman was shouting for help and he/she was lying on the ground. It was being said that he/she was suffering from illness for a long time, but Malaika told that he/she only had pain in his/her knees. he/she was in the Merchant Navy, but had taken VRS (Voluntary Retirement Scheme).
