However, now the trend of eco-friendly Ganesha made of clay has increased. Because Ganesha made of pop does not dissolve quickly in water, it also harms the environment. In such a situation, people become aware and install clay Ganesha at home. However, clay Ganesha is more expensive than pop. In such a situation, we are telling you an easy trick to make Ganpati at home with the help of a spoon.

Materials for making Ganesha idol

To make clay Ganesha at home, you will need nothing more than clay and different types of spoons. You will also need a bowl and coconut oil. You will also need a wooden stick to make designs on the idol. With the help of all these things, you can easily make eco-friendly Ganpati Bappa at home.

  • Apply coconut oil in a bowl and put clay in it, here the bowl will work as a maker and will become a seat for Ganeshji.
  • Now, with the help of a big spoon, make the stomach of Ganeshji. Put some clay in a small spoon and make two legs.
  • Just like the legs, you will have to make the hands as well, just keep in mind that for this the size of the spoon has to be reduced.
  • Now using the spoon handle side, make a gamchha for Lord Ganesha.
  • A spoon will also be useful for making the face and trunk.
  • Now using very small spoons, you will have to make the ears and the turban.

When the basic part of your idol is ready, now it is time to give it finishing touches. You can easily make Ganesha’s eyes, tilak and stripes on his/her clothes with the help of a thin wooden stick.
