National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) has announced ‘NaMo Bharat Short Film Making Competition’. Through this, this is a good opportunity for those who are fond of traveling as well as making great videos. Let us tell you, anyone from a college student to an independent film maker to a content creator can participate in this competition. Let us tell you, the people participating in the competition will have to make reels at Namo Bharat Train and RRTS (regional rapid transit system) stations.

This means that no one will have to pay even a single rupee for doing any kind of shoot here. If we talk about RRTS stations, then some of the stations on the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS corridor station route are Sarai Kale Khan, Jangpura, New Ashok Nagar, Anand Vihar, Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, Guldhar, Duhai, Duhai Depot, Muradnagar, Modinagar South, Modinagar North, Meerut South, Shatabdi Nagar, Begumpul, MES Colony, Doorli, Meerut North and Modipuram etc.

To participate in the competition, some rules have to be followed. Applicants can create reels in Hindi or English and can showcase their creativity. Let us tell you, it is important to follow some guidelines for the quality of the reels, like the minimum resolution of the video should be 1080p. Along with this, the video should be in MP4 or MOV format. The last date for reels submission is December 20, 2024.

Let us tell you, the filmmakers participating in this competition will have to make a video and email it to pr@ncrtc.in. Along with this, “Application for Namo Bharat Short Film Making Competition” will have to be written in the subject. Let us tell you, the full name of the person participating, the story in brief (up to 100 words) and the time of the video will have to be mentioned in the email.

The first winner of ‘NaMo Bharat Short Film Making Competition’ will be given Rs 1,50,000, the second winner will be given Rs 1,00,000 and the third winner will be given Rs 50,000. Additionally, the winning films will get an opportunity to be showcased on the digital platforms of NCRTC.
