Mahima Chaudhary was cheated in love by a famous player, caught her boyfriend red handed, said- he/she did wrong


Mahima Chaudhry made her Bollywood debut with Subhash Ghai’s film ‘Pardes’ and garnered a huge fan base. She impressed the audience with her acting and also made headlines due to her relationship with former Indian tennis player Leander Paes. They dated each other for almost 3 years and Mahima reportedly stood by the tennis player. She was always seen at the stadium when Paes was playing his/her matches. However, they later broke up and the actress attributed the reason to his/her affair with model Riya Pillai. In an interview with ‘Miss Malini’, Mahima spoke more about her past relationship. She said, “he/she may be a good tennis player, but he/she did not treat me well. When I found out that he/she was hanging out with someone else, it was not shocking for me. his/her departure did not affect my life. I became stronger.” Mahima felt that Paes did the same to Riya Pillai. Paes was found guilty of domestic violence against Rhea.

The court directed the former tennis player’s girlfriend to pay a monthly maintenance of Rs 1 lakh to Rhea in addition to a monthly rent of Rs 50,000 if she leaves their house. Mahima got married to architect businessman Bobby Mukherjee in 2006. However, later in 2011, it was reported that the two were living separately due to several mutual issues. They have an 8-year-old daughter Ariana from the marriage.

On the work front, Mahima will next be seen playing Pupur Jayakar in Kangana Ranaut’s film ‘Emergency’. According to reports, cultural activist and writer Pupul Jayakar had a close friendship with the Nehru family. The film will release in theatres on September 6, 2024. Apart from Kangana, ‘Emergency’ also stars Anupam Kher, Milind Soman, Visakh Nair, Shreyas Talpade and more. The film is based on the period of Emergency in India between 1975 and 1977, which was announced by Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.
