Maharashtra Government has released the RTE Admission Form 2025-26. With this, the process of admission to 25% free RTE seats in the schools of the state has started. Under this, you can study for free in any private school, aided school or non-aided school recognized by CBSE, ICSE, Maharashtra Board, International Board in Maharashtra. There are a total of 1,08,961 RTE seats in 8,849 schools. But there are some conditions for admission. Some information is given here. RTE Maharashtra Eligibility: What is the eligibility?

There are 3 types of categories in RTE admission-

• EWS Quota- Under this, admission will be given to such children whose parents’ annual income is up to Rs 1 lakh.
• The second category includes SC, ST, Other Backward Classes (OBC), Special Backward Classes (SBC), disabled children and Covid affected children (whose parents died due to Covid-19 between April 1, 2020 and March 31, 2022). Are.
• Apart from these two, there is a category of orphan children.

Note: You can apply for schools located at a distance of 1 to 3 kilometers from your home. Apart from this, also keep in mind that you can fill the form for maximum 10 schools. Not more than that.
