LU Semester Exam: Exam in Lucknow University is now only of 2 hours, paper pattern also changed

Yesterday, an emergency meeting of the examination committee was held in the brainstorming room of the administrative building in Lucknow University under the chairmanship of Vice Chancellor Professor Alok Kumar Rai. In this emergency meeting of the examination committee, decisions were taken to conduct the examinations of odd semester 2024. In which it was agreed to reduce the time of question papers of all undergraduate courses (BA, B.Sc., B.Sc. Home Science, B.Com etc.) to 2 hours. Earlier these examinations were of three hours in two shifts. However, the examinations of Post Graduate, Law and Education Graduate (B.Ed) will still remain of 3 hours as before.

LU graduation paper pattern changed

The pattern of graduation examination in Lucknow University has also been changed. There will be two groups in the question paper set for 75 marks at the graduation level. There will be two questions in the first group, one of which will have to be attempted, which will be of 15 marks. Whereas in the second group there will be 8 questions. Of these, 3 will have to be solved, which will be of 20 marks each.

Graduation examinations will be conducted from 8:30 am to 10:30 am, 11:30 am to 1:30 pm and 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm. Whereas the examinations of post graduation and others will be held for 3 hours, from 9 am to 12 pm and from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm.

Exams in AKTU from 8th January

Semester examinations will start from January 8 in Lucknow’s second biggest university, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU). The schedule of examinations was released by the university on Friday. Under the proposed schedule, the examinations will be held from January 8 to February 5, 2025. Before this, practical examinations for AKTU semester exams will be held from 27th December to 5th January.

Centers will be created in university affiliated institutions for examination in offline mode. If anyone has any objection to the proposed schedule, he/she can register it. If there is any exam clash then the college will be able to inform it to the examination department of the university. Necessary amendments will be made in the exam on this.
