LU Convocation 2024: Preparations for the convocation ceremony started at Lucknow University, the date is out

Lucknow University News Today in Hindi: LU VC Prof. Alok Kumar Rai said that the convocation of the university is proposed on 16th September. There are three major Chakravarti, Chancellor and Vice Chancellor medals to be given in the convocation. A list of potential students has been sought from all the departments for these medals. After receiving the list, the screening committee will examine the claimants.

After this, interviews of the claimants will be conducted. The VC said that books of many courses will also be released during the convocation ceremony. Apart from this, it is expected that some new medals will also be introduced. A committee will soon be formed for these medals.

Placement cell in LU will provide internship to students:

Central Placement Cell (CPC) will now help students in getting internships in LU. This decision was taken in the CPC meeting on Friday. CPC Director Prof. Anup Kumar Bhartiya has also asked for a list of former students, placement data and achievements from all the department heads. It was also decided in the meeting that orientation programs will be conducted with CPC for new students. So that they can be helped in understanding future career prospects.

During this, Vice Chancellor Prof. Manuka Khanna emphasized on starting short term certificate courses. On the other hand, the training and placement department of the District Employment Bureau informed that in the present times, skills are given more importance than degrees for jobs in the market. The department heads shared their views on the current placement requirements.

Interview dates for MBA and MTTM have been announced:

LU admission coordinator Prof. Pankaj Mathur said that the entrance examination for 2024-25 MBA and MTTM has been completed. The list of candidates who qualified the entrance examination has also been released. Now these candidates have to be interviewed. Admit cards of the candidates for the interview have been issued. Candidates can download the admit card with the help of login ID and password.

Interviews will be held between August 5 and August 9. Candidates have to bring original documents, certificates and mark sheets with them for the interview. Apart from this, photocopies of all the documents have to be taken as well. If any candidate is facing problem in downloading the admit card, he/she can contact the admission coordinator.
