Veteran singer Asha Bhosle has expressed concern over the rising number of divorce cases among the younger generation. Recently, the singer was in conversation with spiritual leader Ravi Shankar when she asked him/her the reason behind it and expressed her shock at the love between young couples ending so quickly. Asha Bhosle also said that even though she had problems with her husband, she never took the drastic step of ending her marriage. Asha Bhosle said, “I also had problems with my husband but I never divorced my husband. However, nowadays, I hear about couples sending divorce papers every month. Why is this happening Gurudev?”

he/she further added, ‘I have spent most of my years in the film industry and have seen many people but earlier they never used to take such drastic steps as the current generation does. I think the love between them ends very soon and they also get bored of each other very quickly. Perhaps this is one of the biggest reasons.’

Ravi Shankar said that nowadays attraction often overpowers love. he/she also argued that young couples do not have the level of tolerance due to which problems between them are not resolved. he/she said- You keep singing and keep making everyone happy. Married to Lata Mangeshkar’s secretary

It is noteworthy that Asha Bhosle eloped with her sister Lata Mangeshkar’s secretary, 31-year-old Ganpatrao Bhosle, when she was just 16 years old. She married against her family’s wishes and had three children. However, the two separated in 1960. Asha then married RD Burman in 1980 and he/she died in 1994.
