Devika returns to Indian team after 8 years
Devika has been selected in the Indian team for the T20 World Cup being played in South Africa and now she has only one dream and that is to win the World Cup for India. Devika, 25, watched 3 World Cups between 2017 and 2020. But, due to one reason or the other, she could not become a part of the team in all these three World Cups.

Devika Vaidya could not participate in the 2017 Women’s ODI World Cup due to injury. In the 2018 T20 World Cup, she reached West Indies after a 40-hour flight. But, the day she reached there, India had a semi-final match on the same day and India was out of the tournament after losing that match. In 2020, the Women’s T20 World Cup was played once again in Australia. This time due to malaria and then shoulder injury, she could not make it to the World Cup team.
