Lost his/her parents, took responsibility of 3 siblings, became Under-19 captain at the age of 18

This 18-year-old player has been given the command of the Under 19 team selected for the series to be played against Australia. After losing both his/her parents at the age of just 16, this talented player took the responsibility of his/her younger siblings on his/her shoulders and has now achieved this position.

According to the news of Indian Express, when Mohammad Aman was just 16 years old, he/she lost both his/her mother and father. After this, the responsibility of three younger siblings fell on him/her. This promising cricketer lost his/her mother during the Corona period. Aman’s mother Saiba passed away in the year 2020. his/her sorrow did not end here, but father Mehtab, who used to drive a truck to support the family, lost his/her job and then he/she also died two years later due to illness.

Mohammad Aman, a resident of Saharanpur in Uttar Pradesh, told the Indian Express, “The day I lost my father, it felt as if I suddenly grew up in a day. I had to take care of my younger sister and two brothers, I was the head of the family after my father left. After this incident, I told myself that I should quit cricket. I also looked for a job in Saharanpur to run the family but could not find any work. In such a situation, some people came forward to help me so that I could continue my game.”

Stayed hungry, sat near the toilet and started the journey
Aman told that when he/she used to go to Kanpur for age group trials of Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association, he/she used to travel in general compartment of the train to save money, used to travel sitting near the toilet. he/she used to sleep on an empty stomach and used to feed his/her family with the money he/she got as daily allowance during cricket tours.
