Lok Sabha Elections: Congress spokesperson will not participate in TV debates on exit polls, what is the reason?

New Delhi: Congress on Friday said that it will not participate in the discussions of television channels related to exit polls on June 1. Congress says that the party does not want to be a part of the TRP game. The head of the party’s media cell Pawan Khera also said in a brief statement that the Congress will participate in the discussions from June 4.

he/she said, ‘Voters have cast their votes and the voting results have been locked in the machines. The results will be out for all on June 4. In the eyes of the Indian National Congress, there is no justification for playing the TRP game by participating in any kind of public speculation before the results are announced.’ Kheda said, ‘The purpose of any debate is to enlighten the audience. The Congress party will happily participate in the discussion again from June 4.’ Voting for the seventh and final phase of the Lok Sabha elections will be completed on Saturday.
