LIVE: Counting of votes continues for 13 assembly seats in 7 states, know who is leading where

New Delhi: The results of by-elections held on 13 assembly seats in seven states across the country will be released today. Initial trends of the by-elections have also started coming. Voting for by-elections was held on these 13 seats on July 10. According to the Election Commission, the highest voting took place in Vikravandi assembly seat of Tamil Nadu, while the lowest voting took place in Badrinath seat of Uttarakhand. By-elections had to be held on these seats due to vacancies caused by the death or resignation of sitting MLAs of various parties.

On which seats did the voting take place?
These seats include Rupauli in Bihar, Raiganj, Ranaghat South, Bagda and Maniktala in West Bengal, Vikravandi in Tamil Nadu, Amarwara in Madhya Pradesh, Badrinath and Mangalore in Uttarakhand, Jalandhar West in Punjab and Dehra, Hamirpur and Nalagarh in Himachal Pradesh.
