List of new films and new web series on OTT in the first month and first week of the new year


New year, new movies and new web series. We are talking about the world of OTT, where explosive content is available all the time, which you can watch anytime and anywhere. There is going to be an explosion in the first week of January from Netflix to Prime Video. ‘Ven The Star Gossip’ is about to be released from ‘Gunaah Season 2’. 1. Gunah Season 1

After the tremendous success of the first season, ‘Gunaah’ is back with a new season on Disney Plus Hotstar. This is an action-packed web series. The story revolves around a gambler who seeks revenge. But he/she meets a mysterious girl and everything changes. This cast includes Gashmeer Mahajani, Surbhi Jyoti and Jain Ibad.

2. When the Stars Gossip

South Korean actor and singer Lee Min-ho has tremendous popularity in India. Now he/she is coming with ‘When the Stars Gossip’. The series is based on Gong Ryong, who goes on a mission to the space station as a tourist, where he/she meets Eve Kim (Gong Hyo-jin). he/she is a simple space commander. There is love, romance, misunderstandings in this show.

3. The Rig Season 2

The story of ‘The Rig’ season 2 begins from where the first season ended. There will be entry of Alice Krige, Iain Glen and some new stars in this show. You will get to see a lot of thrill and suspense in this show.

4. Kink on Life

In this mockumentary you are going to get many information related to nature. Diane Morgan will be seen in it. Many mysteries will also be revealed.

5. Reunion

This is a comedy thriller. Based on a high school reunion. The gathering takes place at Matthew Danbury’s luxurious home, but the old classmates get caught in a snowstorm. It stars Lil Rel Howery, Billy Magnussen, Jillian Bell, Jamie Chung, Michael Hitchcock, Nina Dobrev, and Chace Crawford.

6. Missing you

Twisted thriller based on Harlan Coben’s 2014 novel ‘Missing You’. It begins with Detective Kat Donovan (Rosalind Eleazar) reuniting with her long-lost fiancé (Ashley Walters) on a dating app. This love story is not ordinary. There are many mysteries, murders and complications in it. The cast also includes Richard Armitage and Lenny Henry.

7. Gladiator II

Take a trip back to ancient Rome with this sequel to ‘Gladiator’ (2000), where battles grow bloodier and plots of revenge deepen. After the death of Maximus (Russell Crowe), his/her son Lucius (Paul Mescal) leads a quiet life, but suddenly everything starts changing. You can watch it on Prime Video, but it is available on rent. For this you will have to pay Rs 389.

8. Don’t Die: The Man Who Wants to Live Forever

It stars Brian Johnson. Who is 47 years old. Takes more than 50 pills every day, undergoes plasma transfusion. he/she does all these strange things because he/she never wants to die.

9. All We Imagine as Light

This is a heart-touching movie, which shows the life of two nurses, Prabha and Anu. It is directed by Payal Kapadia. The film ‘All We Imagine as Light’, which created history by winning the prestigious ‘Grand Prix Award’ at the Cannes Film Festival, stars Kani Kusruti, Divya Prabha, Chhaya Kadam and Hrudu Haroon.

10. Bandidos Season 2

After a great season, the makers are bringing the second season of this show. This is the story of Miguel Morales, who has returned with a new adventure.

11. Lockerbie: The Search for Truth

This part-part show revolves around Jim Swire. he/she is a grieving father who is searching for justice for his/her daughter. On December 21, 1988, Palm M Flight 103 exploded due to a bomb explosion over Lockerbie 38 minutes after takeoff. 259 people on board and 11 people on the ground were killed, including Jim’s daughter Flora. he/she demands justice for his/her daughter, helped by his/her wife Jane. Colin Firth is in the lead role in this series.
