Like putting a bandage on a bullet wound … Rahul Gandhi said this while surrounded by the government on the budget

New Delhi: Reacting to the general budget, Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi said that it is like a bandage on the wound of the bullet! Rahul Gandhi said that amidst global uncertainty, an ideal change was required to resolve our economic crisis. But this government is bankrupt with ideas. On Saturday, the country’s Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the General Budget. The Congress alleged that there is nothing to resolve the economy related crises in the Union Budget and many announcements have been made for Bihar due to the assembly elections due this year. Party General Secretary Jairam Ramesh also said that only income tax payers have been given relief. It is yet to be seen what its real impact will be on the economy. The economy is currently surrounded by stable real wages, lack of jump in collective consumption, dull rates of private investment and complex and complicated GST system crises. There is nothing to overcome these problems in the budget.

Members of the opposition walked out to the House for some time while reading the budget speech by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Saturday in the Lok Sabha that the government should give a statement about the Kumbh stampede. As soon as the Lok Sabha meeting started at 11 am, the opposition members started shouting slogans on the stampede on January 29, in which 30 people died.

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman started reading her budget speech in the midst of this slogans. The slogans lasted for about five minutes after which the opposition members walked out of the House. However, shortly after, they all returned to the House. Meanwhile, the Finance Minister continued his/her budget speech.
