  • Amla – 50 grams
  • Fenugreek seeds- 15 grams
  • Shikakai- 50 grams
  • Aloe vera- 2-3 stems
  • Rosemary- 15 grams

  • Flax seeds- 25-30 grams

  • To make shampoo, the first thing you have to do is to wash all the things mentioned above with water and then soak them overnight in a bowl.
  • The next morning, after doing all the household work, take a vessel and put all the things in it.
  • Before adding aloe vera, throw away its yellow water and cut aloe vera into small pieces and mix it in the vessel.
  • Now add one liter of water and keep the pot on gas to cook on low flame.
  • Cook it until the water reduces to half and becomes like a sticky gel.
  • While cooking, keep stirring with a ladle. You will see that the water will start thickening after 20 to 25 minutes.

  • At this stage, turn off the gas and filter it while it is hot, because after it cools down, it becomes difficult to filter the gel.
  • After filtering, separate the water in a vessel and keep the remaining things in another vessel, add water and leave it to cool.
  • When it cools down, mash everything well with clean hands until a foam appears in the water.
  • After this, filter the pulp once through a sieve and then again through a cotton cloth and separate the foamy water.
  • Now put the gel separated in the first vessel into the foam vessel and mix it well. Herbal shampoo is ready.

When the shampoo is ready, add 8-10 drops of Vitamin E to it. If you want, you can also add tea tree oil to it for fragrance. Lastly, add the shampoo base in the same quantity as you have prepared the shampoo.

Jyoti Aggarwal says that this will give you more foam in the shampoo. he/she has taken 525 grams of shampoo base in 750 grams of shampoo.
