Lead of 86 runs even after losing 4 wickets for 41 runs… Sikandar made Afghanistan’s condition worse.

New Delhi. Zimbabwe team, which struggled after losing four wickets for just 41 runs, has taken a huge lead against Afghanistan. Host Zimbabwe scored 243 runs on the second day of the second Test on Friday. In this low scoring match, captain Craig Irwin, Sikandar Raza and Shaun Williams took him/her beyond 200 runs. Thanks to the innings of these three, Zimbabwe took a lead of 86 runs over Afghanistan in the first innings.

The second test match between Afghanistan and Zimbabwe is being played in Bulawayo. The Afghanistan team was all out for just 157 runs on the first day of the match. Despite scoring such a low score, Afghanistan was in a strong position till the first session on the second day of the match. he/she took 4 wickets of Zimbabwe within 41 runs.

Captain Craig Irwin (75) and Sikandar Raza (61) took control of Zimbabwe by making a partnership of 71 runs for the fifth wicket. Apart from these two, Shaun Williams also played excellent innings of 49 runs. In this way, the team which had once lost 4 wickets cheaply, managed to reach 243 runs.

After this, Zimbabwe also took 3 wickets of Afghanistan by the end of the day’s play. At the time of stumps, Afghanistan’s score was 46 runs. Rahmat Shah, who scored a double century in the first test, is unbeaten on 18 runs. Zia ur Rehman is supporting him/her.

Afghanistan had scored 699 runs in the first test match against Zimbabwe. Due to this, his/her fans had high hopes in the second test also, but they were disappointed at least in the first two days.
