Laxman breaks silence after Rohit’s statement on shameful performance in the first innings


New Delhi. Former Team India batsman VVS Laxman has broken his/her silence regarding the toss statement after Rohit Sharma’s shameful performance in the first innings. National Cricket Academy chief Laxman praised Rohit and said that after winning the toss, Rohit admitted that he/she had taken a wrong decision by choosing to bat first. Rohit won the toss and decided to bat first but the Indian team was out on its lowest score of 46 runs at home.

Rohit Sharma himself, who came to the press conference after the end of the second day’s play, admitted that he/she made a mistake in assessing the pitch of M Chinnaswamy Stadium. he/she also said that all the decisions of the captain cannot always be right. VVS Laxman said, ‘It is not possible for the captain to always take the right decisions. We won the toss and chose to bat but we were out for 46 runs. Laxman said, ‘Who went to the press conference? Rohit Sharma only. he/she admitted that he/she made a mistake in reading the wicket. Captains take responsibility for their decisions.

According to Laxman, ‘It is not necessary that the decision is right every time. But today he/she takes responsibility and faces criticism when the team does not do well. If the team does well then you send the player who has performed well. Great captains also give the best performance and Rohit Sharma is an example of this. he/she has done excellent captaincy. he/she told his/her players that this is how our team should play and he/she has been playing selfless innings. Laxman said that he/she is confident that the Indian team will make a comeback in the second test. In the Bangalore Test, visiting New Zealand took a big lead in the first innings.
