Lawrence Bishnoi had sent 6 henchmen to kill Salman Khan, paid 20 lakh rupees as contract money, police revealed

In April 2024, two men on a motorcycle opened fire at Salman Khan’s house in Galaxy Apartment, Bandra. Although the actor was at home, he/she was not harmed. Despite Salman getting ‘Y’ category security, no constable was present there at the time of the shooting. Several suspects have been arrested and the investigation is ongoing. Revelations are also being made one by one in the case. Now new updates have revealed that Lawrence Bishnoi had paid Rs 20 lakh to six people to kill Salman. According to News 18, the charge sheet of Mumbai Crime Branch reveals that the Lawrence Bishnoi gang allegedly paid Rs 20 lakh to six accused to kill Salman Khan.

Update on Salman Khan’s case

The development comes after reports that a Mumbai court recently issued non-bailable warrants (NBWs) for jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s brother Anmol Bishnoi as well as alleged Lawrence Bishnoi gang member Rohit Godera. Both Anmol and Rohit are absconding since they were named in the chargesheet related to the case. On July 27, 2024, Special Judge B.D. Shelke issued permanent non-bailable warrants for their arrest.

Bullet fired outside Galaxy Apartment

In April this year, shots were fired outside Salman Khan’s Galaxy Apartments in Mumbai’s Bandra area. It was later reported that the Lawrence Bishnoi gang was allegedly behind the attack, with the gangster’s brother Anmol Bishnoi taking responsibility for the shooting in a Facebook post.

Accused Vicky Gupta, 24, was driving the motorcycle while his/her accomplice Sagar Pal, 35, opened fire at Galaxy Apartments. According to the chargesheet, Vicky Gupta confessed that he/she committed the crime due to his/her family’s poor financial condition. In his/her confession, he/she admitted, ‘I thought I would not be caught by the police, but still got arrested.’
