Large number of infiltration from Bangladesh, BSF caught Indian agent, racket leader also revealed


New Delhi : A big racket involved in infiltrating a large number of people from Bangladesh into India has been exposed. In which BSF, which guards the India-Bangladesh border, has caught the mastermind from the Indian side living in West Bengal. Due to this, during interrogation, the kingpin of this racket has also been found out. Which is sitting in Shyam Nagar of Bangladesh. The accused has told during interrogation that he/she has allowed more than 100 Bangladeshis to enter India illegally in a short time.

A BSF official said that intelligence input was received in this regard. While working on it, it was caught by the soldiers of BOP Shamsher Nagar of 118 battalion of South Bengal Frontier. The accused was caught in an ambush near the International Border (IB) at around 3:30 am on October 13. The accused is a resident of Kalitala village of Hemnagar Coastal Area in West Bengal.

During interrogation, the accused told that the leader of this racket based in Bangladesh, along with his/her three associates, used to take Bangladeshi citizens in a boat and drop them through the river to the Indian border. From where this Indian broker used to bring them with him/her and drop them in West Bengal. For this he/she used to charge 3500 Bangladeshi Taka per Bangladeshi infiltrator. In this way, in about two years, he/she has infiltrated more than 100 Bangladeshi citizens into India. BSF DIG NK Pandey said that the concerned agency is investigating further in the matter.
