Patna: A case has come to light against the nephew of former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav for allegedly demanding extortion from a builder. Lalu’s nephew Nagendra is alleged to have demanded extortion of Rs 2 crore from the builder. It is being told that in this incident which took place on March 11, Nagendra also thrashed the builder’s brother. According to the allegations, Nagendra had arrived at the time of measurement of the land and during this he/she assaulted the builder’s brother.
FIR lodged against Lalu’s nephew
An FIR has been lodged against Lalu Prasad Yadav’s nephew Nagendra Yadav for demanding extortion of Rs 2 crore. It is alleged that Lalu’s nephew Nagendra beat up a man on March 11 when he/she was getting his/her land measured. It is being told that during this time Nagendra demanded extortion of Rs 2 crore from him/her and also fired a gun in the air to scare him/her. According to reports, policemen were also present there during the measurement but left the scene after the boundary wall was built.

Nagendra beat up the builder’s brother
In Patna, on March 11, Nitin, director of Shubh Shaurya Infrastructure Pvt Ltd, was getting the government’s Amin to measure the land on a plot in the presence of the police. It is alleged that about an hour after the police left, Nagendra Yadav reached there with his/her henchmen and started demanding extortion of Rs 2 crore from the builder. During this, Nagendra threatened and fired in the air, and also caught hold of the builder’s brother and thrashed him/her. Builder Nitin somehow managed to escape, though the victim made some videos in the meantime.
‘As long as the police were there, no one came’
Talking to Presswire18, builder Nitin said that Lalu Yadav’s nephew Nagendra demanded extortion from him/her. he/she told that he/she has 12 kattha land which was given for government measurement, and I was getting the measurement done there in the presence of the police. he/she said, ‘Till the time the police were there, no one came, but an hour after the police left, Nagendra Rai arrived with some boys firing guns and said how can you get measurements done here without paying money.’
