Complaint against Kunal Kamra
Recently, during a show named Naya Bharat, Kunal Kamra took a sarcasm at Shinde to divide the party and tie up with the BJP and termed him/her as ‘traitors’. In a clip of the show shared by Kunal Kamra, he/she is shown singing a song from ‘Dil To Pagal Hai’, referring to ‘a leader of Thane’, referring to Shinde’s physical structure and his/her equation with Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. However, Kunal Kamra did not directly name Shinde in the clip.
Comedian’s photos lit
Shiv Sena activists also staged a protest in Mumbai and lit pictures of comedians. The complaint filed by Shiv Sena leader Rahul Kanal described it as a ‘pre -employed criminal conspiracy’ and a campaign to tarnish Shinde’s reputation, image and credit.
Kunal’s studio vandalized
Demanding legal action, the complaint said, “The act of Kunal Kamra has a statement hurting public emotions, speaking porn words and making derogatory allegations by targeting Eknath Shinde, it is not only abusive but also illegal.” An FIR has been lodged against Kamra on the complaint of Shiv Sena MLA Muraji Patel. A group of Shiv Sena workers arrived at the hotel in Khar, Mumbai, where Kunal Kamra’s stand-up video was recorded, vandalized the hotel, as well as Kunal’s office.
Aditya Thackeray told Eknath coward
Meanwhile, Uddhav Sena leaders condemned the sabotage of Kamra’s studio and also criticized the government. Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut shared a video of the attack and called Fadnavis as weak Home Minister. Aditya Thackeray, while giving a reaction, said that the song sung on Eknath Shinde is 100% true and only an insicker coward will react to someone’s song.
