Kota Factory 3: Why did Vaibhav Pandey become an IIT failure? Mayur More did not pass the test even after becoming the lead hero


Jitendra Kumar’s famous web series ‘Kota Factory 3’ has been making waves on the internet since its release. While every character and episode of the series has made a unique place in the hearts of the fans, this time the fans were disappointed with the climax of Mayur More’s character Vaibhav Pandey. In a recent conversation, the writers of the series gave information about it and talked a lot about the third season. The best writers of ‘Kota Factory 3’ Praveen Yadav, Punit Batra and Manish Chandwani recently interacted. When asked about the need for its third season, Punit said that the journey that started in the first two seasons was not over. To finish, we needed a new season. Apart from this, Punit also talked about the scene that broke everyone’s hopes, his/her decision to fail Vaibhav in the exam. he/she further told India Today that in real life, out of 11 lakh students, only 11,000 students manage to get a rank, which means 99% of the students don’t make it. The author said that this large percentage includes those students who everyone expects to clear it.

Linking it to Vaibhav’s role, Punit said, ‘With Vaibhav, we had to carry forward the idea that ‘Hero hi pass nahi hota hai’. Supporting his/her statement, he/she said that they tried to show a lot of things in the series, which most of the fans understood and liked.

Why fans are sad with Vaibhav’s story

The writer explained the scene where Vaibhav couldn’t sleep the night before the exam due to anxiety. he/she then explained how Vaibhav reached the wrong exam center the next day and was in a state of panic while the gate was about to close. he/she was in a panicked state when a student next to him/her offered him/her water. Then Vaibhav went to drink water.

Vaibhav’s story will move forward

Interestingly, Punit further shared an interesting anecdote revealing how Vaibhav reaching the wrong centre was actually inspired from his/her own life. he/she remembers that once during his/her exams, he/she realised God’s blessings when a man who was returning after dropping his/her son helped him/her reach the exam centre. The writers also assured fans that this is not the end as Vaibhav’s story will move forward.
