‘Kota Factory Season 3’ Web Series Review
Here, writers Puneet Batra and Praveen Yadav, through the role of Jeetu, not only make people aware about mental health and the help they need from a doctor, but also discuss human complications like attachment-detachment, i.e. the difference between attachment and infatuation. Similarly, aspects like how to help a friend struggling with financial problems without expressing it, how we make someone feel small unknowingly, is self-respect important or a goal, how to fight your inner fears, have been beautifully commented upon.
In his/her podcast, Jeetu Bhaiya emphasizes on appreciating the preparation of the children instead of just celebrating their victory, and also tries to explain that these children are not only JEE aspirants, but they are 15-16 year old youth away from their families, who need Jeetu Bhaiya in every coaching to solve their many dilemmas.
Gagan Sir (Rajesh Kumar) teaches beautifully in a scene that (like life) exams are like walking on a rope, if you pay attention to the problems around you, you are bound to fall, but if you take one step forward, you will reach your destination. The writers deserve praise for this lesson. Apart from Jeetu, this series also shows the preparation for exams, their doubts and the pressure-filled journey of Vaibhav (Mayur More), Bal Mukund Meena (Ranjan Raj), Uday (Alam Khan), Shivangi (Ahsaas Chanana), Vartika (Revathi).
This time the responsibility of direction has been taken over by Pratish Mehra, who has maintained the black and white tone of the earlier series, symbolizing a sad, colorless life. However, this time the tone of the series has been sad and serious from the beginning till the end. There are fewer moments of laughter and light-heartedness. The acting of the actors is another great strength of this series. Everyone’s acting is tremendous. Tilottama Shom, who has joined as a new entry this time, has also been impressive.
It is up to the mark in terms of technique and message, but in terms of entertainment it does not go beyond the first season. Some scenes seem repetitive and stretched. The length could have been reduced, but this series is a must-watch as it is a master class in psychology.
Why watch- This must-watch series provides guidance to JEE aspirants and teaches them many important life lessons.
