Kolkata case: At least don’t laugh… Who interrupted Kapil Sibal during the hearing in the Supreme Court?

New Delhi: The hearing in the Kolkata woman doctor rape-murder case was held again on Thursday. During the hearing, a heated debate broke out between Bengal government lawyer Kapil Sibal and Solicitor General Tushar Mehta. Actually, during the hearing, a serious debate was going on from both sides. Meanwhile, senior lawyer Kapil Sibal laughed at an argument of Solicitor General Tushar Mehta. On this, the Solicitor General said that someone has died and you are laughing. At least don’t laugh. During the hearing of the case, the Supreme Court raised many questions on the West Bengal government, state police and hospital administration.

The Supreme Court asked political parties not to politicise the case of rape and murder of a trainee doctor at Kolkata’s RG Kar Medical College. The court also said that ‘the law will do its work’ in the case. A three-judge bench headed by Chief Justice DY Chandrachud told Solicitor General Tushar Mehta, appearing for the CBI, and senior advocate Kapil Sibal, representing the West Bengal government, that all political parties must understand that the law will do its work.

Sensational disclosure in CBI report

The CBI report claims that the doctor was not ‘gang-raped’. Only one person was involved in the crime. The CBI submitted the status report of the investigation to the Supreme Court on Thursday. The CBI report claims that the arrested Sanjay is related to this incident.
