Indian team management has sent Rahul to Australia before the Border Gavaskar Trophy. he/she got a chance to play for India A team against Australia A, but he/she failed to capitalize on this opportunity. Rahul could score 4 runs in the first innings while in the second innings he/she scored 10 runs. This poor performance of Rahul is under question before the Border Gavaskar Trophy. Wicketkeeper batsman KL Rahul and Athiya Shetty got married in January 2023. Both of them got married before the series against Australia last year. This time both of them have announced to become parents before the Australia series. Rahul’s recent form is not good. his/her bat remained silent in the Bangalore Test against New Zealand. After which he/she did not get a chance in the remaining two tests.
