New Delhi: Farmers have announced to resume their march to Delhi. This march will take place today. Farmers are demanding minimum support price (MSP) and loan waiver. Farmers are protesting on Haryana-Punjab Shambhu border with various demands. According to farmer leader Sarwan Singh Pandher, a group of 101 farmers will march towards Delhi at 12 noon today. Sarwan Singh Pandher said that the protest of Kisan Mazdoor Morcha and United Kisan Morcha has entered the 300th day, but the central government is still adamant. We made another big announcement that we will oppose the entry of BJP leaders in Punjab. We are not sure but we have heard that Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari are going to Amritsar. We will appeal to the farmers of Punjab to oppose their entry into the state.

Allegations of brutality against farmers
A day earlier, farmer organizations, Kisan Mazdoor Morcha and United Kisan Morcha had announced to resume the ‘Delhi Chalo’ march on Sunday. Delhi Police has tightened security at Shambhu border. Farmer representative Sarwan Singh Pandher has condemned the ‘barbarity’ meted out to farmers at the Shambhu border. he/she said that the farmers are protesting peacefully and have not broken any law. he/she also said that the protests of Kisan Mazdoor Morcha and United Kisan Morcha have been going on for more than 300 days, but the central government is still firm on its demands.

Ayyakannu, a member of the United Farmers Front (SKM) from Tamil Nadu, has also expressed his/her disappointment. he/she said that last year thousands of farmers had demonstrated in Delhi for MSP and loan waiver, but the central government has not taken any action yet.

Farmer leader Sarwan Singh Pandher said, “Why is so much brutality being done to the farmers? … Considering the entire situation, a group of 101 people will leave for Delhi tomorrow afternoon. Our hunger strike entered the 12th day Our group will go peacefully and ensure that no rules are broken. he/she further said that the protest by Kisan Mazdoor Morcha (Non-Political) has entered its 300th day, but the central government is still on its way. Another big announcement we have made is that we will not oppose the entry of BJP leaders in Punjab but we have heard that Saini (Haryana CM Naib Singh Saini) and Gadkari (Union Minister Nitin Gadkari) will oppose it. We call upon the farmers of Punjab to oppose their entry into the state.
