‘Khel Khel Mein’ could not earn even 5% of ‘Stree 2’ on Sunday, ‘Veda’ is in a condition like a fish without water

While Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkumar Rao’s ‘Stree 2’ is making new records every day at the box office, the condition of ‘Khel Khel Mein’ and ‘Veda’, which were released on Independence Day, is like a fish without water. Both the films have proved to be disasters. There was no new release in the theatres last Friday, so there is no other option for these two films except to earn money by dragging their feet. The condition of these two films in the second Sunday is such that they have not been able to earn even 5% as compared to ‘Stree 2’. ‘Stree 2’, directed by Amar Kaushik, has earned a whopping Rs 42.40 crore on the second Sunday. Not only this, in its second weekend (Friday to Sunday) it has made a bumper collection of Rs 92.30 crore in the country. While ‘Stree 2’ has become the highest grossing Hindi film in the second weekend, ‘Veda’ and ‘Khel Khel Mein’ together have earned a mere Rs 5.45 crore in the second weekend.

Stree 2 earned a lot on the second Sunday, the film crossed 540 crores at the box office, 74 lakh tickets sold

‘Khel Khel Mein’ Box Office Collection Day 11

‘Stree 2’ has now earned a net collection of Rs 384.55 crore in the country and a worldwide gross of Rs 540 crore in 11 days. On the other hand, Akshay Kumar’s ‘Khel Khel Mein’ has earned a total business of only Rs 23.15 crore in 11 days. This is the situation when the film stars Akshay Kumar, Taapsee Pannu, Vaani Kapoor, Fardeen Khan and Amy Virk. Even on Sunday, the film’s earnings did not increase much and it could earn only Rs 1.75 crore.

‘Veda’ Box Office Collection Day 11

The condition of ‘Veda’ is even worse. This action drama starring John Abraham and Sharveer Wagh could not earn crores despite Sunday being a holiday. On the 11th day, ‘Veda’ has done a business of only Rs 80 lakhs. While the total collection of this film in the country in 11 days is Rs 19.25 crores.

Worldwide collection of ‘Khel Khel Mein’ and ‘Veda’

Both the films are doing badly in terms of worldwide collections. ‘Khel Khel Mein’, made in a budget of 100 crores under the direction of Mudassar Aziz, has grossed 35 crores in 11 days at the global box office, while ‘Veda’, made in a budget of 51 crores under the direction of Nikhil Advani, has grossed around 23 crores.

Next big release on September 6 is Kangana Ranaut’s ‘Emergency’

This week too, ‘Stree 2’ is going to dominate the theatres as there is no big release on Friday. The next big release is Kangana Ranaut’s ‘Emergency’ on 6 September. In such a situation, ‘Khel Khel Mein’ and ‘Veda’ have a chance to crawl to a minimum to minimize their losses with the help of very few screens for the next 11 days.
