‘Khel Khel Mein’ and ‘Veda’ got ruined because of ‘Stree 2’, both got shattered on Rakshabandhan

Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkumar Rao’s ‘Stree 2’ is making a splash every day at the box office. In five days, this film has earned a whopping 228 crores in the country. But along with this, the condition of ‘Khel Khel Mein’ and ‘Stree’ released on Independence Day is such that if you cut them, they will not bleed! Both the films have been a flop since the opening day. They did not do well even on the weekend. Now, when Raksha Bandhan was on Monday, even then the boats of both of them kept sinking. The situation is such that these films of big stars like Akshay Kumar and John Abraham have become unconscious in the tsunami of ‘Stree 2’.

Both Akshay Kumar and John Abraham have lost this time. Despite the four-day extended weekend and partial Rakshabandhan holiday, ‘Khel Khel Mein’ and ‘Veda’ together have done a total business of only Rs 31.45 crore in five days. Whereas ‘Stree 2’, directed by Amar Kaushik, has done a net collection of Rs 37.00 crore in the country on the fifth day, Monday alone.

Box Office: ‘Stree 2’ did a great job on the fifth day, Rajkumar Rao’s film beat ‘Bahubali 2’ on Rakhi

‘Khel Khel Mein’ could earn only 1.90 crores on the fifth day

According to the report of sacnilk, Akshay Kumar, Taapsee Pannu, Vaani Kapoor, Fardeen Khan, Amy Virk, Aditya Seal and Pragya Jaiswal starrer ‘Khel Khel Mein’ has collected a net of only Rs 1.90 crore on the 5th day on Monday. This is the situation when there was a partial holiday on Monday due to Rakshabandhan. A day before on Sunday, this film of Mudassar Aziz had earned Rs 3.85 crore. It is clear that despite the holidays, the earnings of the film are continuously decreasing. The total collection of ‘Khel Khel Mein’ in five days is only Rs 15.95 crore.

‘Khel Khel Mein’ is made in a budget of 100 crores

The condition of ‘Khel Khel Mein’ in theatres can be guessed from the fact that in its morning shows, only 6-7 out of 100 seats are occupied by the audience. Whereas in the evening and night shows, even on holidays, 70 out of 100 seats are found vacant. The budget of this film is said to be Rs 100 crore. Now on Tuesday, the film will face its first working day. Hence, there is every possibility of further decline in earnings.

‘Veda”s condition worsens, earns 1.50 crores on 5th day

The condition of John Abraham and Sharvari Wagh’s ‘Veda’ is worse than ‘Khel Khel Mein’. Although this film initially earned more than Akshay’s film, but as the days passed, its condition deteriorated. Now on Monday, the 5th day, it has done a business of Rs 1.50 crore. The total collection of the film in the country is Rs 15.50 crore.

There is double trouble with ‘Veda’

The problem with ‘Veda’, directed by ‘Kal Ho Na Ho’ fame Nikhil Advani, is that it is neither getting many viewers nor is it getting appreciation. In such a situation, its condition will get worse in the future. However, the budget of the film is said to be Rs 50 crore. Therefore, it has a bigger chance to reduce its losses than ‘Khel Khel Mein’.
