Chinar Book Fair 2024: What to expect at Kashmir’s biggest book fair?

• From 11 am to 1 pm, activities like calligraphy workshop, story telling, caricature, dying competition, art workshop, slogan writing competition, vedic maths play, puppet craft, creative writing will be organised.
• From 2 pm to 5 pm – Career workshop will be organised for the youth.
• During this time, people will also get a chance to talk to famous writers, artists and intellectuals from the field of art, literature and culture.
• More than 200 book stalls are being set up. Books of about 125 publishers will be available here.
• National Book Trust director Yuvraj Malik said that this is the biggest book festival of Urdu literature till date. More than 50 thousand Urdu books will be available here.
• Some young writers will also get a chance to launch their books. There will be a counter in this book fair where it will be told how you can get your book printed.
