This place is surrounded by mountains on all sides. Except the museum area, the rest of the place is under open sky. From here, Tiger Hill and Tololing peaks are visible right in front. These two were among the important peaks which were occupied by Pakistanis and were attacking our soldiers with bullets and ammunition from the heights. Amidst that heavy firing and bombing, our soldiers climbed the mountain, reached these peaks, killed the intruders and hoisted the tricolor. (Photo by- Ratnapriya)
