Kangana Ranaut got a big shock, said- I am very disappointed with my country and the situation

What was feared happened with Kangana Ranaut’s film ‘Emergency’. This film has suffered a huge setback. On one hand, Kangana Ranaut was busy with the release of her upcoming film ‘Emergency’, which was to be released 4 days from today on 6 September. Now the release date of this film has been postponed and Kangana is very disappointed and frustrated about it at this time. Kangana has given her reaction on the postponement of the release date of this film. Actually, a lot of controversy has arisen about this film for some time. Some Sikh organizations have filed a petition in the High Court demanding a ban on the release of this film.

Many petitions have been filed to stop the release of Kangana’s film, after which the censor board has cancelled the certificate given to the film. Now Kangana has expressed her disappointment while talking on Shubhankar Mishra’s podcast. She has said, ‘Emergency has been imposed on my film itself. This situation is very disappointing. I am very disappointed with my country, and whatever the situation is.’

The certification given to the film by the CBFC was revoked

Kangana argued that the events depicted in her film have been shown earlier in Madhur Bhandarkar’s 2017 political thriller ‘Indu Sarkar’ (1975 Emergency declaration) and last year’s Meghna Gulzar’s ‘Sam Bahadur’ (1971 India-Pakistan War). Kangana said that while she had already got her film certified by the CBFC, after several petitions, the CBFC revoked the certification given to the film.

‘I will fight in court and release the uncut version’

Kangana also said in this conversation that such obstacles cannot stop her from making the kind of films she wants to make. She said, ‘We will keep telling such absurd stories. Today we will be afraid of someone, tomorrow someone else. People will keep scaring us, because we get scared very easily. How long will we keep being afraid? I have made this film with a lot of self-respect, so CBFC cannot raise any dispute. They have canceled my certificate, but I have decided to release the uncut version of the film. I will fight in the court and release the uncut version. I cannot suddenly show that Indira Gandhi died on her own at her home. I cannot show it like this.’
