Kalki 2898 AD’s earnings fell drastically on the 11th day, but Ranbir’s Animal’s record is in danger

On the 12th day, this scientific-fiction film based on the Mahabharata epic has earned the lowest ever. However, this film is still in a strong position on both the national and international fronts. In terms of worldwide earnings, it has already become the 7th biggest Indian film by beating Sunny Deol’s ‘Gadar 2’. While now Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Animal’ is its target. According to the report of sacnilk, ‘Kalki 2898 AD’, directed by Nag Ashwin, has made a net collection of Rs 10.40 crore in the country on Monday, the 12th day. In this way, the total collection of the film at the Indian box office is now Rs 520.45 crore. A day before, on Sunday, the film had done a business of Rs 44.35 crores over the weekend. In such a situation, there has been a decrease of -76.55% in the earnings on Monday.

The budget of Kalki 2898 AD is Rs 600 crore. On its second Monday, the film earned the highest amount of Rs 6.5 crore from the Hindi version. While the Telugu version earned Rs 2.65 crore. On the 12th day, there has been a huge decrease in the number of viewers who came to watch ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ in theaters. The average audience occupancy was 23.72%. That means, in the shows of the film in theaters, only about 24 out of 100 seats were occupied by the audience.

This film starring Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan, Disha Patani has collected a worldwide gross of Rs 846.40 crore in 12 days. It is already at number 9 in the list of highest grossing films worldwide. It is expected that by Thursday it will surpass the worldwide collection of Rs 915 crore of Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Animal’.

Next on the list are Salman Khan’s ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ with 922 crores, Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Pathan’ with 1055 crores worldwide, ‘Jawaan’ with 1160 crores, RRR with 1230 crores, KGF 2 with 1215 crores, ‘Bahubali 2’ with 1788 crores and Aamir Khan’s ‘Dangal’ with 2070.3 crores is on top.
