Kalki 2898 AD: Prabhas wanted to get beaten up more by Amitabh Bachchan, said to Big B in the fight scene – catch me


Nag Ashwin’s directorial venture ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ was released in theatres on June 27 and within a week of its release, the film has crossed the Rs 700 crore mark worldwide. The director recently revealed that Prabhas wanted to be beaten more than Amitabh Bachchan’s character in the film. Nag Ashwin told that Prabhas was always helpful during the making of the film. The focus was on Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika in the special scenes of the film and Nag Ashwin also told that Prabhas had no problem with it at all. he/she was answering the question of how Prabhas reacted to his/her screen presence in the film during the pre-production discussions. Ashwin does not think that such a discussion took place between them. he/she told that for a star of his/her stature, Prabhas has very little trouble with such things. he/she is completely in favor of the story. he/she helped a lot after listening to the script and approving it.

Nag Ashwin further said that, looking back, it was a big deal for a lead actor to get beaten up by another actor in a world where not all of them do that. Prabhas wanted to clash with Amitabh Bachchan and he/she would tell Big B, ‘Sir, hold me tight.’ Nag Ashwin promised to make a sequel to ‘Kalki 2898 AD’. In the next part, Prabhas will face Kamal Haasan.

‘Kalki’ starring actors like Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan has earned more than Rs 700 crore worldwide in a week. It is the highest grossing Indian film of the year. Earlier, Mukesh Khanna had lashed out at the makers of the film for its connection with Mahabharata.
